Webinar by The Finnish Institute: Finntopia – British perspectives on the world’s happiest country

Wednesday, 28 October
5.00pm-6.00pm BST
Online webinar, Zoom
Hosted by The Finnish Institute in London

What makes Finland the world’s happiest country?

The Finnish Institute in London would like to invite you and your network to our online discussion on Finland’s unexpected emergence as the world’s happiest country (according to the World Happiness Report).

In their new book Finntopia, Professor Danny Dorling and Annika Koljonen explore what we might learn from Finland’s success. The world’s happiest country was also the subject of a recent project by Brighton-based photography collective MAP6. The Finnish Institute and Embassy of Finland have invited Danny Dorling, MAP6 photographers Rich Cutler and Paul Walsh and the London correspondent of Finland’s foremost newspaper Helsingin Sanomat, Annamari Sipilä to engage in discussion. The discussion will be moderated by Press Counsellor Heli Suominen from the Embassy of Finland in London.

Finntopia is available from all good booksellers. You can order it directly from the publisher here and save £5 by entering the code CONF.

Tickets available on Eventbrite & you can find the event on Facebook.

This event is not organised by FBCC. All the sign ups and other enquiries are handled by The Finnish Institute in London
