Wednesday, 7 December 2016, 1:00pm – 2:00pm

Before you start using any social media platform for business, it is very important that you understand why you are using it and what ultimately you want to achieve and then work out how you will get there.

The best way to do this is to understand how to use the various platforms effectively. Work out your SMART goals, define your audience, discover which social networks they are hanging out on and plan what steps you’ll take to reach your targets.

In this interactive session Peter Harrington, one of our Entrepreneurs In Residence, will give you the tools to increase your presence on these platforms and have effective engagement with your audience.

Peter Harrington, is the founder and managing director of Venture Simulations, which developed the multi-award winning business simulation game SimVenture. With over 10 years’ experience running businesses, he has a sound understanding of business, enterprise and entrepreneurship. He also writes the SimVenture Blog, The Hitchhiker’s Guide to Entrepreneurship.
