De-risking the Transformation of Shipping

Wednesday, April 21
2 pm- 3.30 pm GMT
Online event

Shipowners, cargo owners, insurance companies, financial institutions, shipbuilders, class societies, and flag states; everybody knows shipping needs to transform and be sustainable for the future. But the risks in change are higher than usual. And, after years of weak markets, the appetite to take risks is low. So how do we de-risk the transformation? How do we make it just a bit easier to develop, design, finance, insure, and operate those first GHG emission-free ships? How do we contribute to reaching the Sustainable Development Goals?

We have gathered a group of knowledgeable, innovative, and outspoken professionals within those businesses that feel the risks every day. The event is organised together with the Norwegian-British Chamber of Commerce and the Danish-UK Association.

Join us for an hour and a half of trying to figure out how we de-risk the transformation of shipping.
