Brexit Update – Where are we now?
24th May
When UK voters chose on 23rd June 2016, by a small majority, to take Britain out of the European Union, some imagined that it would be a quick and simple process. By contrast, some experts and politicians knew very well that extricating the UK from the EU would be long, difficult and contentious. The word “Brexit” itself meant different things for different people, even among the leaders of the “Leave” campaign.
Come and join us for a vibrant discussion about Brexit and it’s implications on the world surrounding us. Our highly respected industry professionals and speakers will offer an valuable insight about the ongoing negotiations – where are we now and what it will be.
The evening will begin with a keynote speech by His Excellency Tom Dodd, British Ambassador to Finland. His speech will provide an overview of “Britain, Brexit and Finland”. After that we will hear insightful talks from Bob Doyle from London & Partners, Chandru Iyer from Kingston Smith and Nicola Richards from Doyle Clayton. Talks will be followed with Q&A, and drinks and canapes will be shared after.
