Aurora Borealis Exhibition

2nd March – 13th April, 2017

Artist Nicholas Jones visited the Finnish Lapland in 2014 in hopes of finding the fabled Aurora Borealis. Jones was inspired by the mesmerizing dancing lights of the northern sky, and the staggering landscapes of the north. He found capturing the essence of the lights with a camera to be unsatisfactory, and decided to use oil on canvas instead.  Jones’ favourite themes; landscape, abstraction, colour and light come together poetically in the form of the northern lights.
