Chipping Barnet Library presents: An Evening with Quentin Bates, Rachael Blok & Helena Halme

The talk will cover Quentin, Rachael & Helena’s books, and what inspires them to write such gripping stories, followed by a ten-minute Q&A session, with a mystery prize for the best question.

FBCC Member, prize-winning author, Helena Halme writes contemporary fiction with a hint of both Nordic Noir and romance. Quentin Bates is a writer and journalist who has recently made the move into fiction with the first of a series of crime novels set in present-day Iceland. Rachael Blok grew up in Durham and studied Literature at Warwick University. She taught English at a London comprehensive and is now a full-time writer, living in Hertfordshire with her husband and children.
