This year’s Nordic Chambers Business Forum focused on happiness in the workplace. We brought together senior business leaders from across the UK and the Nordics to celebrate Anglo-Nordic business, the Nordic leadership style and discuss what makes the Nordic countries and their companies so happy. The event sparked inspiring conversations and we had a full house of business leaders and members across all five Nordic Chambers of Commerce.
The fireside chat with David Pearson set the scene discussing the concept of happiness as a key to success at the workplace. Sarah Cunningham then introduced us her most recent research around workplace wellbeing with impressive figures: happiness at work truly is something worth investing in. We were then thrilled to feature distinguished speakers from across award-winning Nordic companies, sharing their expertise and insights during the panel. Topics such as sauna, horizontal leadership structures, openness and honesty were mentioned as things that impact wellbeing at work and within the work community.
