FBCC Member Welltek launched Breathe. Focus. Recover. Give our NHS staff a break fundraising campaign. To support them during their on working days, Welltek would like to provide NHS workers technology-based wellbeing furniture to rest and recover in hospitals and significantly help them on the front line. Welltek is providing some of the products below:
- N.A.P. from Loook Industries
- Wave Neurosonic mattress
- GoSleep pod
So far, Welltek has brought a N.A.P. and a Wave mattress to hospitals in London and Birmingham and had great feedback. The plan is to reach many more hospitals in the future.
The Wave mattress and N.A.P from Lo0ok Industries, a ground-breaking Finnish technology company work via sensory tissue stimulation; to help the mind and body relax and recover on a 10-minute programme. The mattress and pod use Neurosonic technology to increase the user’s wellbeing by helping to improve sleep quality, reduce migraine problems, relieve stress and many more ailments both physical and mental.
Dr Jessica Best Opthalomy Education Fellow, Education Academy Whipps Cross said:
“Thank you so much for coming all the way to Whipps Cross, you made the staff very happy today. Many thanks for the Neurosonic products – we are so excited to have them in the department”.
Dr Eoin Dore, ACCS CT2 Anaesthetics Wellbeing Council Co-Chair:
“Thanks for providing this. This allows for a quick power rest which is essential for recharging on a long night shift. The sensory stimulation helps people who are unable to nap as well. The mattresses are great for power breaks. Good to switch off for 10/20 minutes to allow recharging between shifts. They will be very welcome for the wellbeing of the intensive care clinic teams in the coming months.”
