FBCC Corporate Member Marks & Clerk is holding an exclusive CW Academy workshop for businesses aspiring to embrace sustainability. Introduced by Esther Ford, Partner at Marks & Clerk, and in collaboration with Cambridge Wireless and Planet Mark, renowned experts in sustainability certification and achieving net zero, the session will explore key facets of this transformative journey:
- The effect of the net zero policy on supply chains.
- How UK government regulations affect larger organisations.
- The nature of associated scope 3 emissions in creating a “regulatory waterfall” that indirectly includes the whole supply chain within these regulations.
- The steps businesses can take to comply with these requirements and how they can become more attractive to potential suppliers.
The workshop promises an immersive experience with a mix of educational presentations, illuminating case study analyses, and vibrant roundtable discussions. Attendees will receive a comprehensive information pack and a toolkit featuring valuable links and resources to equip you for a successful journey toward sustainability.
Speaking on the day will be Ruari Phipps. Ruari is a Net Zero Engagement Manager at Planet Mark. After completing a Masters in Sustainability and Consultancy at the University of Leeds, Ruari began life at work as a carbon data analyst, progressing through to becoming a sustainability consultant and gaining vast insight into the world of carbon accounting in doing so. A move over to Planet Mark’s engagement team now sees Ruari take this insight into workshops and training sessions, helping organisations to understand the requirements and key considerations to begin their journey on the road to Net Zero.
