A Century of Political and Trading Links between Finland and Britain 1917 – 2017
The Anglo-Finnish Society and Finnish-British Chamber of Commerce warmly welcome you to a conference on the 27th October 2017 commemorating the Centenary of Finnish independence and Finland’s relationship with the UK. The Conference features interesting talks about the political, trade and finance links between Finland and Britain across the last 100 years, with a peek into the future as well.
The group of distinguished speakers includes Mr Erkki Liikanen, Governor of the Bank of Finland; Dr. Risto E. J. Penttilä, CEO of Finland Chamber of Commerce; former Lord Mayors of London and many more.
The conference will take place at the headquarters of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, close to Liverpool Street Station in central London.
