NEW TRAINEES FOR AUTUMN 2018

The FBCC welcomes two new additions to the team for the Autumn 2018 period. Please welcome Mirjam and Elina!

Mirjam is finishing her Bachelor Studies in International Relations at Tallinn University of Technology. She can’t wait to meet the Chamber’s members and introduce herself to the Finnish-British business environment.

Elina is a Master’s student of International Relations at the University of Turku. She’s excited to meet our members and learn more about marketing in the innovative atmosphere of London.

Autumn is the time for new beginnings and challenges and the FBCC is ready to kick off the season with a fresh team in the new office. The whole team is looking forward to meet you at Nordic Drinks on the 30th of August!

New trainee at the FBCC


Our second Marketing and Events Coordinator trainee for the Spring of 2018 has now joined our team – Welcome Mari!

Mari Lemponen is a Master’s Student of Marketing at the University of Turku. Describing herself as a social and innovative character, Mari is looking forward to making most of her internship here at FBCC. Mari is also hoping to meet many of our members and friends at our next event, the monthly Nordic Drinks.

Mari is a Master’s Student at the Jyväskylä University School of Business and Economics. Describing herself as an outgoing and curious-minded person, Mari can’t wait to meet all of the FBCC friends and members in the upcoming six months!

New Trainee at FBCC

The summer is coming to an end with fall fast approaching, and it’s time to introduce our new Marketing and Events Coordinator trainee – Riina Jalonen.

Riina is a Master’s student of International Marketing at Birkbeck University of London – with a Bachelor’s degree in International Business Management from Oxford Brookes University. Riina has previous marketing and event organizing experience from travel- and IT sector.

Riina is excited for the season ahead and hopes to see many of you at our events!

New trainees at the FBCC office

With New Year come two new Marketing and Events Coordinator trainees to the Finnish-British Chamber of Commerce – Milka Heilä and Jonne Mäkikyrö.

Milka is a Master’s student of Communications at the University of Helsinki, with business and politics -related minor studies from University College London and previous communications and marketing experience from an adult education company. Jonne originates from Rovaniemi and currently studies International Business at Umeå University in Sweden, with additional digital marketing studies from University of Groningen. Milka and Jonne are excited for the opportunity to work in the international business hub of London.

Dedicated to improving Finnish-British business relations, Milka and Jonne are looking forward to meeting you at our various business and social events. The trainees are situated in the Hammersmith office, and can be contacted via milka@fbcc.co.uk and jonne@fbcc.co.uk.
