Three high-achieving and inspiring speakers will share their experiences and advice on how to reach
your full potential for success. These barrier breaking women have worked hard to build their careers,
giving them valuable insight on motivation, strategies and attitudes required for accomplishments.
The event will take place in an artisan tea shop and bar Piacha, founded by another inspirational
woman – a former lawyer and current tea enthusiast, Pia Ikkala.

MODERATOR:

Lyn Litchfield is one of the board members of FBCC. Before founding Premier Business Matchmaking and Consulting, she worked 15 years for Nokia, held various senior global sales and marketing positions. She started her career as a TV journalist and news reporter in China, through which she has gained valuable experience in PR and communications. This rather unique career path has enabled Lyn to build a large business network & develop a highly effective platform to connect and promote companies and people both in Europe and in China.

SPEAKERS:

Christine Brown-Quinn is the founder of ‘The Female Capitalist®’ and aims to fast track
careers of professional women. She is an accomplished international speaker and commentator
on a range of issues relevant to the success of female professionals, through blogs, articles,
radio and TV shows, including the BBC’s ‘The Big Questions’.  Christine has a degree in
Foreign Languages, an MBA in International business and nearly 30 years in the corporate
world. She is the author of  ‘Step Aside Super Woman – Career & Family is for Any Woman’

Leena Gardemeister is currently working as a Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of
Finland in the UK. She has previously worked in various departments and divisions of the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland – contributing to international safety while working in
the Security Policy Division, Arms Control department, and the International Body on
Decommission of Arms in Northern Ireland. She has also represented Finland in the
European Union and worked for the Crisis Management Operations in Brussels.

 

Peta Payne is the Managing Director and founder of International Women of Excellence (IWE) –
a non-profit organisation committed to helping professional women achieve their potential
in the corporate world. Prior to founding IWE, Peta was International Vice-President of the
European Union of Women, founding member and a board trustee of the Arab International
Women’s Forum and a Chairman of the European Women of Achievement Awards. She received
a “World of Difference 100 Award” from The International Alliance for Women in 2011.
