Understanding the UK Bribery Act 2010: The Nordic Perspective

Tuesday, 12 October 2010 - 5:30pm - 8:30pm

The UK Bribery Act 2010 comes into force in April 2011, and will have far-reaching practical implications for organisations doing business in public and private sectors in the UK. Modelled on the US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), the UK act is broader in scope, creating an indirect obligation on organisations to implement and enforce adequate compliance procedures.
